- Valid for stays from December 18, 2026 through April 18, 2027, with a two-night minimum stay and no blackout dates.
- Each adult and child listed on your reservation receives two consecutive days of equipment rentals, beginning on the day you pick up your gear. For rental purposes, children are 12 years old and under.
- If you’d like to upgrade your equipment, rent a helmet, or add more days, Mountain Ops is happy to help at pickup. Those extras are paid directly to them.
- Lift tickets are not included. Unused rental days cannot be refunded or credited.
- To cancel your equipment reservation, contact Mountain Ops directly. Canceling your Topnotch reservation does not cancel your rental.
- Guarantee policy: An advance deposit equal to one night’s stay, including taxes and fees, is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. $35 of the total charged per room is non-refundable.
- Cancellation policy: To avoid forfeiting your deposit, please cancel by 4:00 PM local hotel time, 14 days before your arrival date.
How to reserve your equipment
- Book your package online. Include every adult and child staying in your room, so each guest receives equipment.
- Right after booking, reserve your equipment on the Mountain Ops rental site. The form asks for your first ski day and when you plan to pick up.
- On step two, select the option that matches each guest:
- Adult skiers: Adult Performance Rental Skis and Boots
- Child skiers (12 and under): Kid’s Performance Ski Package (12 years old and younger)
- Adult snowboarders: Performance Snowboard Package
- Child snowboarders (12 and under): Jr- Snowboard Package
- In the Renters Details section on step two, add a note that you booked the Ski or Snowboard Package with Topnotch Resort, along with your confirmation number.
- When you check in, pick up your rental voucher at the front desk.
- Bring your voucher, a photo ID, and a credit card to Mountain Ops when you pick up your equipment.

Q: What’s included in the Ski or Snowboard Package?
A: Your stay in any Topnotch Resort room or suite, plus two consecutive days of ski or snowboard rentals from Mountain Ops for every adult and child in your room. Skiers receive skis, boots, and poles. Snowboarders receive a snowboard and boots.
Q: Are lift tickets included?
A: No. Lift tickets are not included in this package.
Q: How do I reserve my rental equipment?
A: After you book your package, reserve your equipment on the Mountain Ops rental site. On step two, select the Performance option that matches each guest, and add a note in the Renters Details section with your Topnotch confirmation number. Reserve your equipment as soon as you book.
Q: When can I pick up my equipment?
A: Mountain Ops winter hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The day you pick up your equipment counts as your first rental day, and your two rental days run back to back.
Q: What do I need to bring to Mountain Ops?
A: Bring your rental voucher, which you’ll receive at the Topnotch front desk when you check in, along with a photo ID and a credit card.

A: Stowe Mountain Resort is a few miles up the road, and the Topnotch shuttle runs to the mountain throughout ski season.
