Our O' Christmas Tree package pairs a stay at Topnotch Resort with a trip to Paine’s Tree Farm in nearby Morrisville, where the Paine family has grown Christmas trees for more than 60 years. Walk the rows, argue a little about which one is the most perfect, and cut it yourself.

Back at Topnotch, warm up in the outdoor hot tub on a cold evening or settle in at The Roost with dinner and a drink. You’ll also leave with an ornament from the farm, the first in a new collection or one more for the box that comes out every December. The tree only lasts a season, but the ornament will remind you where it came from for years.

Terms & Conditions

  • On arrival, you’ll receive a voucher to show Paine’s Tree Farm that you’re booked on the O Christmas Tree package.
  • An advance deposit equal to one night’s stay, including taxes and fees, is required at booking to guarantee your reservation. Of that deposit, $35 is non-refundable.
  • The rest of the deposit is refundable if you cancel by 4:00 PM, 14 days before arrival.

A: Measure your ceiling before you go. A 6-foot tree fits most rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, with space left for a tree topper. An 8-foot tree needs a ceiling of about 9 feet or higher. Trees always look smaller in the field than they do in your living room.

Q: How do I get my tree at Paine’s Tree Farm?
A: When you arrive at Topnotch Resort, you’ll receive a voucher. Bring it to Paine’s Tree Farm so they know you’re booked on the O Christmas Tree package.
