Lift Off into Summer: The Stowe Hot Air Balloon Festival is Back

June 26-28: The longtime Stowe tradition makes its triumphant return! Located at the von Trapp Outdoor Center Field, this weekend-long festival has everything you need to kick off your summer. Live music and family entertainment, a variety of vendors, and all the food and drinks you could want are just the start of what this festival has to offer. Hot air balloons will take to the skies all weekend long, and on June 27, an evening balloon glow will light up the night.

 

Sundays at the Stowe Farmers’ Market

Sundays from 10am-2pm: The Topnotch Resort Event Field becomes the backdrop for local farmers, artisans, and craftspeople displaying their goods. With fresh produce, baked goods, local cheese, live music, and much much more, the farmers’ market is a great way to get a taste of what Stowe has to offer. The market happens rain or shine until October 19.

 

Celebrate an Unforgettable Fourth of July in Stowe

July 4: Stowe’s Fourth of July celebration is a perfect blend of small-town charm and big-time fun, with a vibrant parade through town, live music, delicious local food, and plenty of family-friendly activities. As the sun sets, find your spot at Mayo Fields for a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the mountain skyline. It’s an all-day celebration filled with community spirit, natural beauty, and plenty of patriotic flair. If you’re looking to celebrate further from town, check out the day of events at Smugglers’ Notch, complete with a parade, town fair, live music, and a fireworks display at dusk. On July 5, Stowe Mountain Resort and Spruce Peak will have a day of events, finishing off with fireworks beginning at 9:45pm.

September 19-21: Every September, Stowe trades maple for minis as it hosts the British Invasion.
