Meet our Gentle Giants, Justin, Mack, Jack, Donny, and Tom. The largest, Justin, weighs 2200 pounds! These gentle Percheron and Belgian draft horses will take you on an unforgettable journey back in time. Choose one of five vehicles with beautiful, old fashioned spindled wheels. Enjoy a ride in our new Elegant Victorian or Surrey Carriages, both ideal for romantic couples rides! Our beautiful Vis-A-Vis is a four passenger carriage, white with luxurious red seats. This is a great wedding carriage! All carriages have convertible tops, in case of light rain. If a wagon ride is what you're looking for, we offer two candy-apple red 6 passenger and 12 passenger rides, for families or groups. Our scenic ride begins through a charming covered bridge, onto a winding wooded trail, along an open brook, then out into a meadow trail with spectacular views of Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak. We then make our way back to trail's end. You will have experienced a part of Vermont's past, a pleasurable memory that will last forever! Topnotch Trail Rides
Vermont looks especially beautiful from horseback. The Topnotch Equestrian Center offers one-hour, four-mile guided trail rides across a variety of terrains including hills, open meadows and across streams for up to seven riders, age seven and older. Choose from English or Western style tack. Rides are available at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. May through November (dependant on weather) and costs $35 per person.
